WORSHIP

SOCIAL, NOT SPIRITUAL DISTANCE

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

John 14:27

We continue to meet (virtually) to support, plan, create, and learn with one another.  For more information, contact group leaders or the church office.

Sunday Dinner has resumed!  To learn more about how you can contribute your time or resources, contact Lisa Watson!

Anti-Racism Town Hall

After an outpouring of support to live into PSUMC’s call to be an anti-racist church, we will hold a Zoom Town Hall on Sunday, October 18th to understand how we as a congregation will live into our call.

Stephen's Ministry

If you are feeling overwhelmed and want someone to offer a listening ear,  please contact Linda Mandrachia who can connect you with a Stephen Minister.

Church Council meets regularly via zoom.  All members and friends are welcome.  For more information contact church office.

Children's Sunday School begins on Sunday, September 13 at 10:00. PSUMC welcomes children preK-8th Grade for an intergenerational engaging Sunday school experience. Families do not need to be church members to participate in this free ministry and we encourage you to invite a friend!  The Fall program will focus on the Beatitudes, Jesus' sermon about building up communities of love and justice. Sessions are multi-sensory and led by gifted, trained, and background checked teachers.

We will be delivering a Sunday School kit in the coming weeks. In these challenging times we are grateful for the opportunity to equip children with a sense of resiliency and hope.

Did you miss our last service?  No problem!  Watch it here:

The Church Council, worship committee, and your ministers are working to creatively maintain a sense of spiritual connection and community even as we are restricted from gathering in person. Read this letter from Bishop Bickerton requesting that we do not gather for public worship even as we find new ways to "be the church."

If you usually share your offering on Sunday morning, please consider making your gift online hereKeeping our church finances consistent will help us to offer a strong faithful community through this challenging season.
